The McCallister family live in a modest house, in a nice neighborhood of Los Angeles. Charlotte and James have 4 grown up children. Daisy the selfie lover and Logan, the hopelessly in love kid; both still live at home. Samantha the fashion conscious entertainment lawyer and Emma an entertainment media lawyer who both come by frequently. The house is always filled with friends and family. There’s never a dull moment when Charlottes alcoholic friend Miranda is over and the crazy rebellious kid Angel who just wants to cause trouble and create fireworks. There’s David and Genesis who are friends of the family and think they are Bonnie and Clyde running from the law. It’s a crazy household and all Charlotte wants is an easy life. Unbeknownst to her, her husband James is about to drop a bombshell on the family. James has got himself into a financial mess. He borrowed money off an old dodgy friend who turns out to be the biggest drug dealer in town. Now the bad guy wants his money back sooner than agreed because he’s back on the smack! He has threatened James, and he is coming after him and his family if he doesn’t pay him back immediately. James has to protect his family and that’s what he will do!
Turn Off The Lights
Reviews
Turn off the lights was a very well put together show. Lots of superb acting and talented cast members. Going back over the program I received I'd say the strongest actors were Tim Murphy, Dennis Delsing, Janine Gateland, Ash Warren and and Sydney Morgan. But all in all everyone did a great job and the set looked pretty cool too.

What a splendid show! Very entertaining and some incredibly talented cast members! Loved the relationships formed and some wonderful intimate moments. The actress Sydney Morgan was fantastic, Ash Warren and Janine Gateland. High standard acting from all. The sister relationship between the two actresses Warren and Gateland were superb! Very well trained actresses! Smashing show!

I saw this show with my boyfriend and we both loved it! Some of the characters were so funny. I liked how half way through the story took a turn. Well it had us both on the edges of our seats anyway. I also liked Janine Gateland's performance. She was very real and showed a lot of strength throughout. Her character had a real dry sense of humor and the actress really pulled it off. The father who was played by Dennis Delsing was great too. He really brought the energy up a notch when he entered. Great show!

Superb show! Kept my attention all the way through. I like the concept of the story and the acting was wonderful from all. Seemed to be very well cast and the set looked very detailed. The actress Janine Gateland was exceptionally really good in it. She brought a lot to the character and seemed very natural. The girl who played her sister Ash Warren was very well cast also. Great night out!

I was looking for a good show around town with my girlfriend and we came across this. We both super enjoyed it. It definitely had the drama/ fear aspect as the show progressed. At one point, my girlfriend jumped so much, her bag and everything went flying! Dennis Delsing played the father and he had us on the edge of our seat as soon as he walked in. His daughter played by Janine Gateland was a breath of fresh air too. Entertaining and really natural actress, i'd really like to see more of her work now for sure. I hope this production company continue to make more because we'd be interested in seeing more!

I saw this show on the last night and the place was buzzing. It was a full house and I fully enjoyed the show and so did my friends who came with me. Janine Gateland's performance as Samantha was top notch! She had a seriously dry sense of humor, especially trying to sort out her brothers love life. She's a very talented lady! The play had me laughing in stitches, scared, hopeful and gripped to the end. Couldn't fault it at all!

Cool show! Great concept, good acting, nice set and perfect show length at about an hour. My fav characters were the bad guy, Howard, the father and a couple of the kids. I thoroughly enjoyed the 2 daughters acting, played by Janine Gateland and Ash Warren. Their chemistry during the big last scene was awesome! Both excellent talent!

This was a fantastic show and i'm so glad I went to see it! The story was really good and I think they did a great job at the casting. I loved the brother and sister who were played by Sydney Morgan and Raymond Karago. The other two sisters were awesome together too - Janine Gateland and Ash Warren gave really good performances. Their costumes were perfect too! I've seen some of Janine Gateland's other work and she just gets better and better. Really fantastic show!

This is definitely by far one of the best shows I've seen in a while. A very well put together play and the acting was to a high standard! My favorites were the actor who plays Howard and one of the daughters that plays Daisy. Ash Warren really did a great performance during a high intense scene where she gets taken hostage by the Howard guy. Her sister who's played by Janine Gateland was phenomenal too! Her stage presence and chemistry with her sister sold me. Her performance was outstanding. Great casting and wonderful acting by all.

This was a really great show. I see a lot of plays and musicals throughout the year and this particular one was a gem! Right in the heart of Hollywood, so perfect location. The show was sold out when I got there and they managed to squeeze me in. The cast were spot on. Dennis Delsing was in it and I've seen him in loads of theater over the years. He was also in the movie Jersey Boys. The actress who plays his daughter in the play, Janine Gateland, was superb too. She kept me entertained all the way through. You can tell she has had an extensive background in theater because of how she held the audiences attention. Mesmerizing performance! Overall, great acting, story and awesome set!

I am so glad I made the decision to attend this show! I heard about Turn Off The Lights from following actress Janine Gateland, who I am a fan off. After seeing her pervious work this was another outstanding performance! Her character was intriguing. She had great stage presence. Every cast member displayed good quality acting. This drama/comedy had me laughing and captivated the entire time. The storyline was very creative. The only downside was trying to find parking. Finally, a play that I enjoyed beginning to end!

I went to see the show on the Saturday night. What a wonderful play! The theater is right in the heart of Hollywood and what a great theater it is! Very entertaining show and the story gripped me the whole way through. The theater was totally packed and definitely a sell out. The quality of the acting was exceptional too. Some great performances I must add. The lead guy called Dennis Delsing really drove the show along with Tim Murphy who plays the bad guy. One of the daughters, Ash Warren was a very good actress and really gave a great performance between her and the bad guy Howard (Tim Murphy). My favorite character in the show though was Samantha played by Janine Gateland. An exceptional performance from her. Samantha's dry sense of humor along with her confident, steel, demure look really gave the actress wonderful stage presence. You can tell the actress has a lot of experience and she was a delight to watch! She sold the show for me. I would definitely be interested in seeing more of the creator of the shows work. Dorrill Griffin certainly made an entertaining play! Over all a great show and only 1 hour long. I just wish it was on for a longer run as I would go again.
