Trixie: The Musical follows its quirky leading lady into the comedic depths of psychotherapy. This misunderstood and polarizing therapist has chosen career over love, and she isn’t looking back. Dressed to impress and out to save the world, Trixie faces some of her most challenging cases yet. She delves into the psyches of characters facing depression, addictions, and trauma, on their quests for self-acceptance. Featuring dark humor, irreverent music, and a flair for the dramatic, nothing is off limits when Trixie is in session. Written by comedian Emily Decker, with music by Emily Decker and critically acclaimed composer Dan Sugi (Broadway Noir, Letters to Eve).

Great show! Forget everything you think you know about therapy — Trixie is in and she's a very good listener. It's a comedy, an A-1 musical, a fantastic ensemble, a fahbulous book, and will leave you thoroughly entertained. Emily, Liz, Daniel, Adam, Chris, Kate, Sean, Samantha, and Julia, Thank You! I laughed so much I pished myself a little (eek) and yet still needed to grab a tissue latter when I got verklempt. The original score is witty and fun with ensemble harmonies and solo pieces worth revisiting! Encore! And great script! I was blown away by the stellar cast who left me wishing for part 2. It's that crazy good! It leaves you with sense of satisfaction and even perhaps a new-found appreciation for your own mental health.
