Reviews
Richard's best friend and fellow disabled student, Barbara “Buck” Buckingham, is portrayed by wheelchair bound actor Shannon DeVido who utilizes her enhanced mobility to add explosive movement to every bit of her choreography designed by choreographer Jennifer Weber, assistant director and choreographer Ashleigh King and Robb Hunter. The intensity of her character portrayal, often with a copy of Shakespeare’s Richard IIII in her hands, adds in a bit of reason against the misplaced passion ruling Richard’s life, firmly challenging him to choose good actions over evil ones. If only Richard listened to her.
