Don Waterski (pronounced: wah-TUR-ski) is an eccentric woodsman, and self-described forest expert, who takes the audience on a tour of the Northwoods. He teaches them about how trees actually reproduce, what to do when you come across a bear, and what the heck a hodag is (it's a mythical beast that stalks the Northwoods, dontcha know?) The show is very interactive as Waterski continually asks the audience for help, but ultimately seems to only get more confused. Will you learn new insights into how to survive in the woods? Probably not. Will you have a good time anyway? You betcha!

While the humor of this show is extremely silly, the show is far from family-friendly. Trust me, you don't want to explain to your children what really happens this far into the woods…

So much fun! The set was full of so much whimsy, I was hooked from the moment I stepped into the theater. This is a show that not just anyone could do, hilarious, absurd, ridiculous, captivating! I was drawn into his world for the duration of the show and didn't look back. He pulled all the audience into this strange world and took us on a journey I was happy to be a part of. Bizarre and brilliant. A must see for anyone who loves to laugh. Love the level of specificity, playfulness, and quirkiness.

Here's a super fun show you'll enjoy! Don Waterski (Jake) certainly knows how to entertain a crowd. There's a lot going on in this show, including games, props, jokes, improv, audience participation, and it all works because Jake is a such a charismatic and skilled performer. I doubt this is the last we've seen of Don Waterski!

Whoa!! First off, Jake Kornely is one of the most creative people I've ever met! Talk about TALENT! Before I can even comment on how funny and entertaining he is, I've got to mention how impressed I was with his set design, costumes, and props. Wow! He did a phenomenal job of transporting us to the deep woods of Wisconsin. I was extremely impressed! Now, onto the actual show….holy shit, I laughed so hard that I peed a little bit in my underwear! He went to all the places that most people wouldn't dare, and pulled it off brilliantly! If you appreciate silly humor, you will freaking LOVE this show!!

The world of Don Waterski (pronounced Wa-ter-ski) sucks you in the moment you walk into the theatre. It is at once comforting, lyrical and magical while setting the tone for something not so serious. Jake Kornely (as Waterski) masterfully balances story telling, standup and clowning in a delightful romp through woods up nort'. He comedic timing is spot on and the audience joyously plays along with the tongue in cheek humor. Not a moment was lost with laughter filling every moment. Like all great trail guides Don Waterski took me on a trek that I would like to explore again.
