The production is directed by George Kondreck and produced by Kathy Dershimer for Kentwood Players with rights secured from Dramatists Play Service, Inc. Featured in the cast, in alphabetical order, are Philip Bartolf, Ross G, Justin Heller, Jack Maatita, Jeremy Palmer and Courtney Shaffer.

DIAL M FOR MURDER has been remade four different times for television, but is perhaps best known as the classic film directed by Alfred Hitchcock starring Ray Milland and Grace Kelly. It remains one of the most suspenseful thrillers ever written, centering on ex-tennis pro Tony Wendice, a gentleman on the surface who plots to murder his wife, Margot, because she had an affair, even though now over, with revenge motivating him to get her money. To accomplish that goal, he blackmails an old school acquaintance to strangle her. When things go drastically wrong, Tony sees another way to guarantee her death and his wealth. Will he succeed or will his plot to murder Margot be foiled?

If you haven’t had the pleasure of viewing one of their first-rate shows, I would heartily recommend this slick, stylish production to be your first riveting, rousing, sensationally gripping experience. Some theatergoers may already be familiar with the story from the classic 1954 Alfred Hitchcock film.

...Director Kondreck’s intricate direction and marvelous design faithfully elicits those required feelings of noir and circumstance, presenting chills and squeals throughout the show.

...The actors are all very adept at infusing depth and vitality into their characters, seemingly tailor-made for their roles. New faces to the local theater community mix with returning thespians to deliver strong, powerful performances.

As the group's publicist, I cannot post a full review on any site. But as a reviewer for Broadway World Los Angeles, I can tell you this is a marvelously well done production with meticulous character portrayals by the entire cast and outstanding technical credits in scenic, lighting, and sound design. Kudos to director George Kondreck for his dedication to keeping the long Act 1 exposition interesting to follow, which is so necessary fot the tension in Act 2 to make perfect sense. If you love well-written thrillers, this play is a perfect example of why DIAL M FOR MURDER will continue to entertain audiences who will be in the edge of their seats waiting for the final outcome!
