CATHARSIS

CATHARSIS is a solo performance created to process one’s personal journey towards self-recognition amidst the (de)stabilizing effects of adoption. The show broadly explores the dynamic relationship between healing, movement, and visibility as Megh negotiates what it means to take space and be vulnerable as a Black femme. Megh invites audiences to occupy her [head]space as she uses movement, poetry, and sound to remember her histories and create her future.
