This ensemble of powerhouse women plays out their story with the smoothness of a well-oiled machine. Each distinct performer gets the opportunity to explore her own feminist voice as she navigates the messy-as-hell and utterly relatable end to a drunken Halloween night. This is pure fun, wildly executed, and cleverly developed.
The audience interaction always creates laugh out loud moments for me and my friends in attendance. They used the intimate space to their advantage!
What I didn't like
The lighting may have been a little basic at times, but even this serves the ensemble well, since the audience was able to focus on each actor having their personal moment and creating their character on stage.
My overall impression
Great show with incredible chemistry between the performers! Probably because they all contributed to the script.
Not sure if this site is working. Posted earlier. I really enjoyed this show. I came with my wife and friend and we all enjoyed it. I thanked her the next day for taking me. This show made my night!
A hilarious show crafted by a group of power-house women. The characters were relatable, the writing was topical and well-paced, and the elements of audience engagement added so much fun to the show. I laughed the whole time and felt like I wanted to hang out with these girls again after.
A sketch and theatre mix of four young women playfully depicting what it's like when you're out one night but have a life crisis in the middle of partying and waiting for an Uber. The acting and script were top notch; great comic timing and jokes yet an accurate depiction of the struggle we all face in our youth.
Loved this show. Went with my boyfriend and a group of friends and we enjoyed it a lot. Was a really great after dinner show. I'm inspired by these actors (I'm also an actor). It was a really fun and well thought out show with great inside jokes between the cast as well as audience interaction that worked really well.
This show was great! Super fun and hilarious. The costumes and minimal set were great at recreating a night after partying on Halloween. The actors were wonderful and the script they wrote very funny and reminded me of real people I know.
A FUN show representative of a Halloween wait for an Uber in LA. The friend group and their interactions were so fun, with each character so unique. Fun show!!
Such a fun and funny show! Loved reminiscing about the 90s and Britney Spears and crazy nights out with the girls. Loved that it was written by women and that it can be feminist and political (shout out to RBG) yet funny and charming as well. Wished that I could have been in that world with them for longer!
A wonderfully written show with a real sense of authenticity. You feel like you know these women because they are so well drawn in such a short amount of time. A show that never gets too silly, nor too heavy it finds that perfect blend of realism and theatre antics to make you truly feel as if you are with these women on a wild night of partying. Jenni Halina along with Drea Garcia, Stephanie Sherry, Alex Owens-Sarno and director Kelsea Burke have a strong and talented command of dialogue and characters and their acting is top notch. I'd very much love to see a sequel with these women. SEQUEL PLEASE!
Each actress was very believable in their character that you could tell they each developed their . The story was realistic and what you’d expect of a night in LA after partying. This funny, slice of life comedy along with great character work by the actresses is a must see!
A delightful show, well performed and a fun script written by all the actors. Strong comedic roles and a great showcase for each. I especially loved the flashbacks and references to 90s pop. I just wish the show was longer.
Fun and entertaining show. The girls have a good time and learn a few things . Feels like you're right there with them. Nice RBG references. If you see this show, you'll have a grand ol' time.
What a fun show! I took my mom and we had such a blast. These 4 ladies combine comedic timing, grounded delivery and familiarity for any girl that has had that late night in West Hollywood when the bars are closed and all the honesty of a friendship comes gushing out. The use of nostalgic references like Britney Spears and the Spice Girls, the loss of a phone, and the bond that brings it all back together. Truly charming piece, with an ENCORE performance! Must see!
This show may well be the launching point for the brilliant comedic team of Drea Garcia, Jenni Halina, Alex Owens-Sarno and Stephanie Sherry. Not only did they write this hilarious romp (with a little help from their amazing director Kelsea Burke), but they also brought it to life, transporting the audience to those wild and crazy things we did when we were much younger. It was the perfect dessert after a wonderful Fringe Prom, and the candy was a nice touch. Thanks to executive producer Matt Morillo for bringing us another gem.
Really funny show and so much fun! Really impressed that the actors wrote it and the one produced as well. They all had great chemistry and seemed like they knew each other for a long time.
I liked the overall script and that it was accurate in how the characters speak. I also liked the monologues and the audience interaction. The modern take on defamiliarization was charming and playful; for instance when the characters are suddenly at an audition or in a past moment.
I loved the show! I came with my husband and our friend and they both loved it as well. It was fast paced and smart. The next day, my husband thanked me for taking him to the show!
An excellent ensemble cast of female characters on Halloween night. The show was funny, timely, and even at moments, poignant and heartfelt. Overall a great way to spend 30 minutes. Highly recommend!
