Great show! Forget everything you think you know about therapy — Trixie is in and she's a very good listener. It's a comedy, an A-1 musical, a fantastic ensemble, a fahbulous book, and will leave you thoroughly entertained. Emily, Liz, Daniel, Adam, Chris, Kate, Sean, Samantha, and Julia, Thank You! I laughed so much I pished myself a little (eek) and yet still needed to grab a tissue latter when I got verklempt. The original score is witty and fun with ensemble harmonies and solo pieces worth revisiting! Encore! And great script! I was blown away by the stellar cast who left me wishing for part 2. It's that crazy good! It leaves you with sense of satisfaction and even perhaps a new-found appreciation for your own mental health.
What seemed like a novelty and gimmick quickly developed into a thoughtful piece on our purpose and “value” before we are all called to the dumpster (or karmic recycling) in the end. And funny at moments, too! Excellent work by some skilled improv actors working within a unique formula. Great concept for long-form improv with potential for audience involvement. I wanted to know more objects - need more actors. I will be back because each show promises to be creative and unique.
