Many Trump Refugees in One Body
What a great story! I was amazed, and stretched to re-think some old beliefs, by Lyralen's outing of herself as a multiple-personality, struggling to understand herself, and to be understood by a world full of confusion, fears, and judgements. Warm, loving, and personal, there is a lesson in this story of what can be overcome with the support of a caring community. Thumbs up!

Let There Be Thistles
What a great exploration from the other side: what happens to a god who has lost all his followers? Funny, sad, touching, weird, confusing (in good ways), and all-round enjoyable performance by Joshua Thomas. He really captured the feelings of desparation and loss of a dying god.

AS WE BABBLE ON
A group of friends struggles with moving up and on, into the adult stages of life, full of uncertainties about who they are, what they want, and how they fit in. Contemporary issues brought to light in an entertaining way. Convincing and committed work by the actors.

Nobody's Really Helped Me
I walked into this show randomly, and was surprised that it was packed full of Lanessa's fans! Funny, weird, touching, I really enjoyed this show, and getting to know Lanessa. I look forward to finding out how she changes and grows over the next 10 years!

I DIED TODAY
Touching and personal true story that triggers a life-changing reevaluation of what's really important. I love that Greg has cast 4 different actors, with 4 different takes on the material. Heartfelt and funny.

Alexa, Turn Off Heartbreak
Ha ha these gals are hilarious. One of their ex-es, a sweaty wrestler type, was laughing his head off in the front row. His current girl friend kept shooting him evil looks. That's got to be a sign of success!

BEST FRIEND
An interesting exploration of contemporary issues of class, elitism, and stereotyping those whom we think we know. Nice work by the actors in creating believable characters and tension. But given what happens, I thought this could've been a 60 minute play.

The Other Side of the Razor Ribbon
As this story unfolds, it just gets more and more amazing! I liked how surprised Stacy was by the whole experience, and how she just keeps following her instincts into an adventure she never expected. The story is given extra depth by Derek and his playing and presence. All in all, a delightful show!

Doctor Zomba's Ghost Show of Terror
Ha ha, I really enjoyed this campy, corny, scary (not very), throwback to simpler times when live entertainment ruled. No, its not deep, but it is well-done, well-cast, and kept the audience in smiles and laughter. Dr Zomba, David Beach, is a natural for this role. I imagine him sitting in his small, dark, unheated room all week, just waiting for a chance to inhabit Dr Zomba. Three thumbs up!
